why does my blackberry have a white screen and a timer when i turn it on?

i turned on my blackberry last night, and it came up as a white screen with a timer. I usually get this for only a few minutes then it comes up as my home screen however it still has the white screen from last night and wont turn off or go back to the home screen.
any ideas why?

Take it to the store you can probably get a replacement if the censor in the back of the phone is still white

Leave your USB plugged and charging for a few hours, and then with the USB still plugged, remove the battery and reinsert it. See if boots up and leave it charging longer, to 100%. Also, don't ever let your batter charge fall below 15%.

yeah so i just got my blackberry 8330 curve back from my mom and it wont charge its stays on a white screen with a battery and a lightening bolt when i have it plug in. i charged it for about 5 hours and then i unplug it and the red light comes on at the top for a few then shuts off. i try to turn on and its flashes then back off

Battery might just be bad -

Contacts with Battery and Phone are Dirty - use rubbing alcohol and QTip and wipe metal parts of battery and metal parts of phone

Contacts with Charger are dirty - With Phonbe Unplugged, wipe contacts of charger with alchol and Qtip and then wipe area and metal where charger plugs in.

why wont my blackberry 8520 turn on?

i have a blackberry 8520 and it recently ran out ov battery and turned itself off.. i plugged the charger in and left it too charge oover night... ever since it turns on to the white screen with the clock in the centre but stays on that screen all the time.. it hasnt crashed as the clock continues to go round.. i have treid both hard and soft reset but it doesnt seem to solve the problem

Plug your phone into the charger

Take the battery out of the phone with it still plugged in

Wait 3 minutes and put the battery back in with it still plugged in

Do not touch any keys for at least an hour and let it charge

i have a blackberry 8530 and I'm going to update the os to 5.0.0.886 and i was wondering if there is anyway to do this with out plugging my phone into a computer and just doing it straight from the phone. is this possible? thank you

via the desk top manager,and your usb cable,if there is any other way,I hav'ent heard of it

Blackberry OS update?

So, i have a blackberry 8520 with an OS of 4.6.
I have the blackberry desktop manager so i plugged in my blackberry and tried to update my OS.
After i pressed the check for updates and finished it and everything, when i checked my phone it still said that my OS was still 4.6.
Help?PLEASE?

Well i have dammage my blackberry torch, i have stuck a simcard in the sim tray ... It wouldnt go out so i forced it out and some golden thing came out, and now it s not accepting any simcards, it is unlocked, but without a warranty , am i still able to repair it? The standard warranty on most electronic items are one year.
Take it to your cell phone provider they tend to have a repair person or they will send it out for repairs. They can tell you if you are still within warranty or give you a flat repair fee and then once they find the problem call you and let you know what has to be prepared and how much it will cost before they start the repair (if you are out of warranty).

blackberry pearl 8100 repair??

hello i recently purchased a blackberry pearl 8100 on ebay for my girlfriend. She put a couple of scratches that are barely noticable but she keeps complaining about it and wont let me do anything until i fix it

. My question is if there is any way I can remove the scratches without buying a new phone?? I dont have insurance or a warranty, I dont have the money to buy another phone. I want to know if there is some sort of repair kit I can buy or a place in the Los Angeles area where I can get scratches removed off the phone. Any homemade suggestions would also do as long as I get these scratches removed.

The scratches are not on the screen but on the top part above the screen and the side of the phone at the top (which is silver on this particularn phone)

Warranty Problem with Blackberry Phones 4 u please help!?

I signed up for a phones for you contract with orange for a blackberry torch, the torch handset itself is simfree so there is no carrier lock or logo.
It is still under warranty and i woke up one morning and the phone wasnt recognising my simcard, i took it into phones for you and they said theyd take it in for repair. I later found out they refused to fix it as apparently i did the damage myself! The phone is in amazing condition i'm very careful with it and the problem it has is it's card reader there is a fault or one of the pins is broken.I've researched this and alot of other blackberry users have had the same fault is there anything I can do? They can't surely just blame me especially if its an internal fault?
PHONES 4 U ARE THE WORST COMPANY EVER, MONEY GRABBERS.
