iphone 4 Vs HTC Desire Vs Blackberry Torch, which has a better GPS?

I live outside the US and because my car doesnt have a GPS I rely on my Iphone 3g currently.

I will be getting a new phone and GPS is important to me. I hear although HTC comes with voice navigation guidance this feature is not available outside US.

Which of the three phones is better with regard to GPS accuracy and also the options that come with their GPS?

High quality mechanism is always made by Apple. Other companies try to do in months, what Apple has achieved in years. This of course, doesn't work.

So, my answer would be iPhone 4.

And, HTC Desire doesn't have built in turn-by-turn navigation. Only newer HTC phones, or if the phones has the latest firmware (which is very unlikely). And this only works in US and UK.

EDIT: There is a reason why I haven't included the RIM BlackBerry Torch...

Well it depends what you want to do with your phone. If you love all the gadgets, apps and games, the iphone is a clear winner. It also does look very good. The problem with the iphone is the cost. Very expensive. You have to pay alot for the phone and if you want a decent tarriff that will cost you also.

I have a blackerry and the BBM is great for texting friends who also have them. Very very easy to text as they are buttons not touch screen and its not complicated to use at all. Ring, text and use a camera which is good. Also you wont get ripped off with the tariffs.

Torch 2 is rumored to come out in August for ATT I've never had a blackberry before so can someone recommend which is best?
I hear the bold is the most heavy duty but the camera is only 3.2 mp, the paint on the torch chips easily and the Torch 2 OS 7 is supposedly buggy and not as good as people expect but both Torchs have 5 MP cameras so please help

I'd get the Torch . I have one & I got it when it first came out . The first one broke within a week , it had the BlackBerry symbol and a red dot flashing continually . The second one's music player broke & wouldn't turn on after about 3 months . I'm currently on the third one and hope that nothing will happen to it :3

Long story short , you'll have to wait awhile for the Torch 2 to become glitchless . Good luck ! :)

I would like to buy an Apple iPhone 4s so i went online and it says $200.00 soi was talking to my mom about it and she thinks its only if your starting a new att account. Well for Christmas, My mums buying me a new mobile, and I have a choice between the iphone 3gs or the Blackberry torch 9800. I would have bought the iphone 4, but I got it for Christmas in 2010. and since then it was stolen. I do really really like the blackberry, but the app store on it is terrible!, and I know that the iphone 3gs is more or less the iphone 4, just without facetime ( which I never even once used) and that's the screens better on the iphone 4, I know as well that the new IOS 5 is available on the Iphone 3gs. But on the other hand, the blackberry torch has the qwerty keyboard, and if the price is cheap enough in the UK, i might be able to stretch to the blackberry torch 9810 with it's 1.2 GHz processor and it's OS7. camera isn't an issue to me, I never really use cameras on mobiles, and 4g isn't available in the UK....... So what's you opinion?

You do not get the upgrade price without signing a new 2 year contract. AT&T requires a data plan with all smart phones and it's required regardless of where you buy the phone. If you do the upgrade, your new contract will include a data plan. If you choose to buy the phone elsewhere, a data plan will be added to your account as soon as the network detects you're using a smart phone.

I got my iphone stolen from my bag @ Universal Studios last summer, and ever since i've been using the LG shine that my mom had...over 3 years ago. BlackBerry 9700 Bold Unlocked Smartphone s a great product. It's more compact that the Bold 9000 that I used to own. I much prefer the touch-sensitive track pad compared to the trackball too. Besides those two main factors the functions and battery life are basically the same between the two.

I love my blackberry it is so amazing i never wright reviews but this product is so awsome that i had to wright a review of course with every product there is at least one thing i dont like but i have have 10000 that is good to say about the device i take lots of pics and the camera on this phone has very good quality video could be better not to much impressed with that.

I currently am using an iPhone 3GS, and am eligible for an upgrade. Around my high school, BlackBerry's are the most prevalent, but is BBM worth it to switch to a BlackBerry? I do use SMS alot, but most of the people I text have BlackBerry's. The plan that I have already comes with unlimited text, so dropping unlimited text would be irrelevant. If I were to get a BlackBerry, coming from an iPhone, which one do you think would be best for me? It would have to have GSM and 3G as thats what my network (Telus) offers. If I were to stay with the iPhone, would it be best to just stay with the 3GS and wait for an iPhone 5 or get an iPhone 4 now? I want to hear your opinion.

I would say that switching to a BlackBerry for BBM is a terrible idea because you can text just the same on an iPhone as you can on a BlackBerry. Plus, you can get way more apps, and you can even video chat on an iPhone! Both of which you cannot really do with a BlackBerry. I say you get and iPhone 4 now, that way in a year and a half you will be eligible for an upgrade just in time for the iPhone 6 to come out. Most likely there won't be any extremely nice and big changes for iPhone 5 but on iPhone 6 it will be time for some big changes and you will be able to get it right when it comes out.

I am switching to Sprint and I don't know which phone to get. Blackberry is coming out with a new curve which will be available on Sprint. It's really good,iPhones are good too.
Don't get a blackberry,loads of my friends have them and moan Facebook hasn't been working for a week,it takes ages to switch on ,it keeps freezing for about 7 minutes.
My cousin had a blackberry and he dropped it(slipped out his hands)and broke completely not a scratch or a little dent in it,it broke and fell apart.
Then he got a samsung tocco lite when he droped that down some steps(not on purpose)it was fine.

Why is the Blackberry Curve 9300 3G camera so bad?

it has 2 mega pixels. meanwhile the iphone 2g/3g also has 2 megapixels and it looks great. the picture/video quality looks really good on the iphone (not iphone 4) but the blackberry curve 3g's camera is bad. its so sensitive when its bright out. but they have the same mega pixels. 2.

I have one too and YES the camera svcks it's only 2mp is why but even more so the screen resolution on blackberrys is poor.
I have a 4th gen ipod touch with a barely 1mp camera (less mp than my blackberry) and it's photos are superior to my blackberrys 2 mp ones!!!
Apple's new ipods have better screen resolutions and are just plain old better too.

I Definitely think the iPhone. Almost everyone I know that had a blackberry switched to the iPhone. Just sell your iTouch on eBay or to a friend. IPhone 3Gs's are very cheap at the moment, but if you want faster service then get the iPhone 4. Overall the touchscreen typing is very smooth and it's just a great phone. Highly recommended.

With Verizon coming out with the iPhone in early 2011, is it worth the wait for another 3-4 months to get the iPhone, or would it be better to get the Motorolla Droid X, which also seems like a great phone.

I also have the storm and am contemplating the droid x versus waiting on the iphone 4. I'm actually leaning more towards the droid. Larger screen, better camera, tons of widgets, and a fast processor. SO many people will be lining up to buy a brand new iphone4 from verizon (which will end up being out of stock) and I know the price for one of those will be through the roof. At least I know the Droid's price and the fact that it has been out for quite some time with everyone I know loving the phone.
So if you want your phone to have:
Sharp screen, great multimedia features, and a great source for content - go with the iphone4

Big screen, great search tools, and reliable - go with the droid x

For me...I'm going with the Droid.

so its rumored that the iphone is coming to verizon in january or early 2011. my verizon 2 year contract is up now, should i wait until january and get the iphone? or should i get the blackberry curve now.
