i just got a blackberry 8700c. how do i download wallpaper,ringtones, and games from crackberry.com?

i do have fully working internet service, when i go click download for this wallpaper http://crackberry.com/wallpaper-colors-patterns-peace-2 it just askes to open with or save 2...WAT DO I DOOO ??
how do i transfer it to my memory card?

Its a jpg file. I went to the link to see what you were talking about. Its trying to save to picture to your PC. So when it asks to open with, it wants you to choose something like windows photo gallery etc. When it wants to save its asking you where to save it on your PC. Typically it will be user pictures, or downloads..

Then you can transfer it to your memory card. Or you can just save it right to your memory card by going to crackberry.com mobile. Which is m.crackberry.com I believe.

okay. i got my blackberry 8900 and the OS WAS v4.6.1.114 platform 4.2.0.76 .... THEN MY FRIEND SAID THERE WAS AN UPGRADE. SO I LET HIM UPGRADE IT TO V5.0.0.130 PLATFORM 5.2.0.3

because of this new upgrade.
i noo longer have AIM.
the blackberry app world doesn't work even tho i reinstalled it

the "help" app doesnt even turn on

i want too PUT THE ORIGINAL OS BACK ON.
IS THERE WAY I CAN DO THIS

I heard that the latest software was v4.5? and what's the difference between EDGE and OS 4.6.1 or OS 5.0? And lastly, do you know which of these two will be faster when connected on wi-fi?

EDGE is the "2G" data network that AT&T uses for your blackberry to receive and trasmit data.

I'm not familiar with what the current OS is for either...
Although i bet the 8520 is using the newer 5.0 OS... The 8900? Not sure... This is just the previous version of the curve so i imagine they might still be on a 4.5 or 4.6 os and may upgrade to 5.0 sometime in the near future.

The new 5.0 OS is noticeably faster in all aspects in all of models of blackberries i have tested (storm 2, bold 9700, curve 8520 and 8530...)

btw, i would choose the BLACKBERRY BOLD 9700 if you can! It uses current 3G systems and the halfway step into 4G, the newer 3.5G bands!.... Here u go directly from Blackberry's Website.

Where can I downgrade from BB OS 5.0 to BB OS 4.6.1?

I updated my bb software ... then my stupid bb curve 8520 started acting all wonky to the point where my screen fried. Dont ask, I don't know how it happened.

I then got my phone exchanged and now it has the stupid BB OS 5.0 on it and I hate it. It puts all my sms together as if it's a chat on bbm and I HATE that. It's a long story but I want to go back to OS 4.6.1 and I can't figure out on the blackberry rim website where to go to to DOWNGRADE to os 4.6.1. My service provider is Rogers and theres a way that I can do it but I don't ahve time to call them to get instructions on how to do it because I'm working 2 part time jobs.

Can someone PLEASE post the link to the bb rim website where I go to install the os 4.6.1 onto my bb curve 8520. It HAS to be the 4.6.1 because the 6 and 4.7 WILL NOT work on my phone.

Go here to download 4.6.1 (mulitlanguage) to your computer:

Double click the file you downloaded to install it on your computer

Plug your phone into your computer and open Desktop Manager 6.0

Click Device - Update my device

Check the box next to 4.6.1 (downgrade) and click install

Wait for the process to complete

Right now i have facebook and twitter and also pandora. The games arent as good but its a PHONE not a mobile gaming devices.

What regular people hate is that blackberry apps world only has apps that people use like facebook and twitter. They only have one version of each app unlike say the app market on apple that has 7 different facebook apps tens of different twitter apps and a million and a half repeat games.

The blackberry are beautiful devices and I'd advise you to get the new Bold or curve. They have touch screens and beautiful desplay and the most up to date blackberry OS

What's the difference between the blackberry tour and the blackberry 8900?

I currently have the blackberry curve 8900 and they now have the blackberry tour out and I can't seem to find any differences except for the size of the phone and that the buttons are raised on the tour.

Does anyone know any real differences between the two? Is one better for surfing online?

There really is no difference at all just the physical features. So if you were planning to get the tour it wont be worth it cause they are the same

Okay, so I upgraded my BlackBerry OS from 4.5 to 5.0 and I don't like the chat style sms layout (threaded) and I was wondering if there is any way to get my texts to look like what it did like it was running OS 4.5.

There is very little impetus for RIM to make OS5 available for 1st-gen curves and pearls.

FYI - BBM5.0 just got released (you need OS 4.6 or higher).
