I just got a Smoky Violet BlackBerry Curve 9300 (T-Mobile) phone. I've done some research but I have mixed feelings about this phone when it comes to health. I love this phone so far but still don't know if it is a good phone "healthwise"?

I would say either the Samsung Galaxy W or Blackberry Curve 9300 because with both of these phones are very high on technology.. So those would be my fist choices, but if you like the Samsung Galaxy W a bit more i would say go for it! If you don't know enough about it, go on google and you should find a lot of info. That means you don't have a data plan. Which means you don't have internet connection. If you call T-Mobile they can upgrade your service to a data package. Also, if you already have a data package, put the phone in airplane mode, turn it off, then turn it back on and take it out of airplane mode... Maybe that will help. Good Luck! :)

Looking for specific blackberry tour case?

Hey everyone,
I have a newly purchased Blackberry Tour (9630)
and I saw a girl the other night with a super cute silicone gel skin!
It was bright orange and it had the blackberry logo going down the back, I asked her about it and she said she bought it from ebay and that it came in a pack of 4 or 5.
I know that they are brightly colored and I totally am in love with them.
I need help finding them, if anyone can help me out, that would be great.
And I love the fact that the blackberry logo was "Etched" into the back of the skin, that was an awesome plus!

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Should I purchase an LG Lotus or a Sprint Blackberry Curve 8330?

I'm about to purchase a new phone from sprint and can't decide between the Lotus or the Blackberry Curve 8330. Which one is better?

In my opinion, probably the Blackberry. The blackberry is more flexible in which carrier its in. The Lotus is only in Sprint, whereas the Blackberry is in Sprint, Verizon, Alltel, and Pcs. The blackberry also can carry more memory and has a really nice, sleek look that I like.

The LG Lotus does have a longer battery life of 5.5 hours, and the Blackberry has only up to 4.3 hours. The LG Lotus doesnt have a headphone jack [3.5mm] which is a bit inconvenient. But it does have a 2.5mm headset jack which is good.

I just got the 8330 and have Sprint service.......I am really liking the phone for sure.....got it a week ago.....the internet is very fast, came with a mem card already installed to hold your music and pictures. Just tons of cool features, and it sync's up to outlook with no problem, so all your contacts are there, and phone # too.....big jump up for me from Nextel. I do miss the direct connect some what. Quick bumps to your family or friends is very nice for that fast hello, and I believe the voice clairity is better with nextel phones when you make calls, but other than that, the Blackberry does it all. You have 30 days to try it out also once you activate it. Send it back if you dont like it, then try something different. Its kind of a hassle, but they will do it. Customer Care really SUCKS when you get the "Off Shore " division if you know what I mean....BIG language problem, so I keep hanging up till I get someone in the states. I think all cell companies do that now though. Hope this helped a bit.....I was looking on here for help to see if there was anyway to turn up the bass and trebble on the Blackberry when listening to music....but no luck so far.....take care.

Install the desk top manager if not already installed.

There are two ways of doing this:

1. Attach the device to your computer and open up the desk top manager.
Select the "Media" icon. Under "Media Manager" select start. This will open up the "Media Manager".
In the lower left you will see "My Devices."
You will see two locations listed for your device. Device memory and Media card.
Under each you will see the folders listed for both. If the pictures are stored in the device memory select the picture folder under device memory, if they are stored on the media card, select the picture folder listed under "Media card." This will display the pictures in the lower right pane.
Go to the upper right and select the "Folders' icon. Go to "My Pictures" and create a new folder. Right click on the "My Pictures" folder or right click in the pane on the upper right, select "New folder."
Name the new folder something easy to remember, I called mine "Device Download Files."
Open this folder.
Go to the lower right pane, select the images you will to move or copy to your computer. Select "Move" or "Copy", from the center bar, to move or copy the pictures from your device.

2. When you first attach the BlackBerry curve to the computer, the curve will prompt you to turn on "Mass Storage Mode." Select "Yes," do select "Don't Ask this again". This will make you device appear under "My Computer" like a thumb drive would. If your pictures are stored on the media card, device memory will not show, and then you can drag and drop them into a folder.
This would allow you to drag and drop files from your computer to the memory card on your device.

Should I buy an iPhone 5 or a BlackBerry? Social Networking, Music, and Gaming are the areas I look for the most in a phone. Its true the iPhone excells on all 3 but the BlackBerry is incomparable in the Social Networking part.
Any ideas which one to own?

IPhone 5 isn't actually out yet but if you mean iPhone 4 then, well it depends what you will use it for!

If you will use it for work then Blackberry is best as it is easy to access your email on and easy to text as it has a qwerty keyboard.

If you will use your phone for fun/games then IPHONE is best. I have never had and iPhone but my dad has one and I have an iPod touch. They are really fun but I find using a qwerty keyboard is easier.

I would go with the iPhone 5. Blackberries are more geared toward working people. IPhones are a lot better for teens and the like because they have a lot of games and multimedia features.

Plus, from an industry standpoint, RIM reign as the king of the smartphone is pretty much over. Android based phones and iPhones are the future (I guess you could consider Windows phone 7 too).

I would say buy either the iPhone 5 when it comes out, or a comparable Android powered device. Personally, I have an iPhone 4 and am going to get the iPhone 5 when it comes out too. Blackberries are outdated and won't be popular, except as possibly still for businesses because they are easier because they are used to them.

I am thinking of buying a Blackberry Storm and have read different things about it being compatible with mac. Some say it's not while others say it is. Some say Pocketmac works as well as the missing sync while others say it doesn't.

Go to your OPTIONS menu (if its the same icon as the Storm it will be a spanner - wrench if you are in the USA)

Select ADVANCED OPTIONS

Select WIRELESS UPGRADE

I plan on selling my 8100 BlackBerry Pearl on ebay, but I have a couple of questions.?

I've had this AT&T BlackBerry for about two years now, it's fully functional and it's also unlocked to other services. I'm currently with T-Mobile. I plan on selling this phone, so I can raise some money for a Mac Mini.

It has a couple of scratches at the top, but nothing to keep you from using it. I was wondering if this would be a bad thing? I'd throw in a free silicone case. I pretty much used it to cover up the scratches and I honestly thought it looked hot.

It's updated with the latest software and OS and I'll include the USB cord and things. Is this good enough to pass?

Hello all, is there a way i can regain access to my Youtube account?
the problem is, is i cant get into my youtube account. i never have
the right password to get in. I keep all my password in a password
database program, and always change the passwords to mach the
new password on a website i might change it on. And yes, i have my
flash player, Windows 7, Mac OS, Blackberry Tablet OS, and all used
web browser all up to date. after i change the password, i STILL cant
get in. And when i do manage to get in, all the links on the page dont
work. i cant upload any videos.
And i know all you google users are gonna tell me that there's nothing
wrong. its my computer's fault. im a retard and can remember my own
password. every one else i've asked has told me that, so can someone
just get over the google pride and tell me whats up with my youtube account??

Well click the forgot password link. It will send a link to verify you password etc. For gmail/google accounts you had to have given a alt email in case you forgot your password or a security question.... This sounds like a weird problem though.... You might just have to make a new one.... Hope this helped

Should I get a HTC Flyer or Blackberry Playbook?

I have been looking at tablets and I have narrowed my choices down to the HTC Flyer and the Blackberry Playbook. I like how the HTC runs android and the android market has more apps and it has a 1.5 gigahertz processor but it is not dual core and HTC doesn't state the ram it has so it is probably under 1gb. The Blackberry Playbook is running the Blackberry OS which has less apps although it will soon be merging with the android market and it has 1gb of ram and a 1 gigahertz dual core processor. I would prefer to have an expandable memory optition and only the HTC has it not the Blackberry. I NEED HELP DECIDING!!!

What is the best non-iPad tablet?

I have spent many days waiting impatiently for the HP TouchPad only to find out that it was not all it was cracked up to be. Now I have this small predicament of where to go now. I like webOS and BlackBerry QNX's card UI, the apps of Android and iOS, but here comes the problem:
-The TouchPad is heavy and inefficient with battery life
-The PlayBook is tiny and only supports 4 fingers
-iOS is a platform for apps, not an OS(meaning it can't multitask, has no desktop, etc.)
-Android 3.1 is an mystery to me
So, I am left wondering what tablet will suit me best. Any suggestions?

I had a blackberry playbook and I loved it. It works great, and is better than an Ipad in my opinion. Though, I returned it because there were a lot of technical difficulties with it. The first one had a dead pixel and the second had a dead pixel and battery malfunction. Though, I had it at launch so you shouldn't worry about it.

for christmas i dont know id i should ask for the blackberry playbook nook color or the kindle fire. I want to be able to get books from the library and read it on the device, but i already have a kobo so I know how to do that. The main question is which one is the best? i like the playbook because its fast i like the os and it has a camera. i dont like that it doesnt have much apps. i like the nook color because it has a more app selection and i know that i can get books from the library on it. i dont like that it's not that fast. the kindle fire looks awesome but i dont know many people that have it and i am not sure how many apps it holds. if there are any tablets that are better than these and are under $250 plz tell me otherwise tell me which one is the best out of all of these. thanks :)

If you are slightly knowledgeable about tech and Android, or if you are patient, learn well, and can use Google, get the Nook Color. Install Cyanogenmod 7 (a custom Android ROM) on it, and it becomes a full-fledged Android tablet, capable of running pretty much all of the Android Apps.

okay i just have like the old X-tc by virgin mobile and i saw the new blackberry and was going to get it but its 300 dollars is there a way or a place u can get it for cheaper but still be able to use it on the virgin mobile network?? thanks any help is much appreciated...

Try eBay or craig's list. I just got a new Wildcard for $8 on eBay, it's $50 from Virgin Mobile. Just be sure to check the ESN# with Virgin Mobile before you buy, to make sure it's a usable phone.

yeah so i saw a blackberry curve at walmart under virgin mobile and its a hundred bucks which is cheap and there were other cheap cool phones there and i was wondering if i could send it to my friend in the philippines whcih shell insert a filipino phone brand sim card into it. is thgis possible?

Blackberry's aren't in jail, so No. You Jailbreak iPhones. If you mean unlock, yes you can but since Virgin runs on the Sprint network which is CDMA, there phones do not accept SIM cards.

Virgin Mobile Blackberry Curve?

Hello, I currently have a Droid X Smartphone with Verizon. I'm on my parents plan and I pay about $55 a month for my phone. I'm going to be graduating soon and I'm looking for a much cheaper phone plan per month and I started reading about Virgin Mobile and it sounds like a good deal. I'm interested in getting their Blackberry Curve. Has anyone had any experience with Virgin Mobile and/or this phone?

The curve is a good phone, although we do not know whether you are talking about the 9300 or the older one. But they are almost the same, the do come in slightly different colours, but they're great for people with a lot of friends, readable word, exel etc.
