what video format does the blackberry curve 8320 use to play videos?

i recently bought a blackberry curve 8320 and i can share files between my computer and phone. i have tried different formats to play video but none work. .avi, .wmv dont work at all, .mp4 plays audio but no video. i tried converting the format to mpeg, but it came out .mp4 and the same thing, audio but no video. how can i get audio and video to play?

Blackberry just support to play .avi video, and you need to download suitable codec for avi, such divx or xvid,

Video file format convertor to download video files to my Blackberry?

Does anyone know of a FREE software download that will enable me to convert my video files on my computer to download onto my Blackberry smart phone? I think the format is called MP4 but I'm not sure. It would be cool if I could also use this software to convert the movies I have on my laptop to burn to dvd as well. No trial periods. Please help!

Use this I used to use it for that same thing it might take a while to work out the right screen size and format for your blackberry but it works.
