Blackberry Bold.....?

Is Tmobile going to have the Blackberry Bold? and if they are going to have it, when is it coming out? I really want it before christmas. Which do you prefer, the blackberry bold or the blackberry storm? I think i prefer the bold but what do you think?

No they are not.
You would have to buy it full price (eeeee, like 5, 6 hundred dollars)
from AT&T and unlock it which is (eee, another 50 at least)

switch to cingular! I have the bold right now and couldn't be happier. Got it for only 299$

BLACKBERRY BOLD??!!!?

I just saw the new blackberry bold commercial and it was so awesome!!..i cant wait until it comes out(im a crackberry addict if you havent noticed)...A friend of mine got his hands on the new bberry storm, and it to is also awesome, but im not that excited over touch screen devices whats because i have a itouch.... your review on it...the new bold that is???

I bet the bold is like a "summary" of all the other blackberries (i haven't seen the commercial) and i have a blackberry pearl and i don't think it has a touch pad-i don't like touches pads because i put my phone in my pocket and it might make me call someone.so yeah---i think it would be totally cool!! :] hope i helped :]

Questions About Blackberry World Edition Sprint

I had a Sprint Blackberry world edition. Someone stole it, can i find out who took it if it is used?

I don't only want to know who took it very badly, but can it even be used now? I know it was a SIM card phone, i just dont know too much about cell phones. Thankyou!

Ulgh, I had my iPhone stolen. It stinks. If you haven't already, you need to call Sprint and have them deactivate that line so that whoever has it doesn't run up a bunch of charges. You can report it stolen, but from everything I've seen it doesn't do much. The phone can still be used, all they would have to do is trade out the SIM card, which is super easy to do.

Sprint and Blackberry phones are the most problematic on Page Plus.
Sprint phones can usually get talk/text. Forget mms. Data? Maybe. If you bust your tail.

Blackberries, even Verizon ones do not have Blackberry services support. Technically, no phone that is not a Page Plus official phone is supported, so if you flash one and get it on their system, the tech support is all up to you.

Coverage is on Verizon prepaid network so kills Metro/Cricket.

I just bought a blakberry pearl yesterday, and i dunno if i want to return it and get the blackberry world instead.

Asides from the keyboard and the camera/not having a camera, what are the differences between the 2 phones?

ALSO... Putting people in the phonebook on the pearl... I was doing it no problem, then i accidentally pushed something and now i can only see two empty groups of PERSONAL and BUSINESS. When i go to options it says how many people i have, but i cant see them. What do i do to get back to the main contacts list?

I figured out the phonebook problem. I had one or the other checked (personal/business). To show all the contacts you cant have any groups checked off.

blackberry bold 9700 update questions?

I have a rogers blackberry bold 9700 running os 5.0.321.Ive had it unlocked to work on bell and now i was looking to update it because i have never bothered updating it. How should I update it? Any help appreciated

I would definitely say download BlackBerry Desktop Manager so you can back up all your files before you update it. When you download this, it'll tell you what updates are available and it'll update your phone for you itself. You just need the USB cord, connect it to your computer, download the Desktop Manager, back up your files just incase, and it does the rest for you.

Why won't my Blackberry update?

I have the Bold 9700. I plug it up to the Blackberry desktop manager and it says I have alot of uprates including the os 6 update. So I continue and get to step 6 and it says a fatal error has occurred. And then it knocks my phone off of the AT&T network. What is going on? I've tried redoing it but it does the same thing. Help Please?

Yes os6 has been officially launched. No need you have to update just with indian os. Bb is independent of countries. Logon to www.bbin.in the best indian bb website and follow os update page and list out your needed os and follow installation guide

My touch 3g slide (black) or BlackBerry Bold 9700?

I currently have a T-Mobile G1 (White). My mom is letting me pick any phone I want, But there is so many options. I want to stick to Androids OS platform because I am already used to the way these phones work, the only thing that I have heard bad, was that the Google 3.0 Gingerbread Update rumor knocks My Touch 3g slide out of the Google Update Cycle. Another thing, the Slide has is the MyModes, And The Wireless Tethering I've heard might be updated to the Slide. But then I've played with my friends blackberries, and I love the sleek presentation it gives off. I am not to familiar what BlackBerry's have to offer, But I need some Mytouch 3g Slide users and Blackberry bold 9700 users to Comment and Help me decide. I got 3 days to choose. HELP!!!

I went from G1 to BlackBerry 8900 and thought I'd miss everything Android had to offer, but I got over it fast. Unless you simply cannot live without all those apps available to Android, then I say go with the 9700 and avoid all those problems you mentioned for the new MyTouch. You can always go back to your G1 if you decide you need Android (or if it's within 14 days, just return it and get the MyTouch).

I have the Blackberry curve 8900 and my friend told me that if i type the password in wrong 10 times all the data will be wiped. Is there a way to turn that off and just keep entering the password?

I sent my phone off to a friend and I did a "Wipe handheld" on the phone but I never checked to see if the pictures were cleared....Does anyone know if it clears the media too? And I'm not talking about on a media card. Just on the phone alone.

If you selected to wipe the media card your media is gone if you didn't it isn't gone.

How to wipe a Blackberry when scrollwheel is broken?

The scrollwheel of my Blackberry 8310 is broken.
I am therefor unable to wipe it... I'm going to throw the device away but before I do that I want to permanently remove ALL the data on the device.

Any thoughts, the device does turn on but the scrollwheel is not functioning what so ever...

Why does my blackberry Pearl wipe its own memory clean?

I own a blackberry perl 8130 and twice now it has just shut itself off and wont turn back on. Both times Telus has told me that my phone has wiped its memory clean, why? Has anyone else had this problem?

Blackberry should not wipe out the entire memory by itself although it is designed to wipe the user's information if you enter the device password incorrectly 10 times as a security feature. Draining the battery or taking the battery out will not wipe out your information. You should reload the operating system software on the phone and see if that fixes your problem. Yes it is true blackberry devices do start deleting messages and call logs when they run out of space on the internal device memory but done wipe the whole thing clean. If that is the problem you see happening then try deleting pictures and other large files from the blackberry's internal memory. You can save those pictures to your computer or transfer them to a media card.

A lot of people have suggested the Security Wipe but I want to literally delete everything.

Then, you can reinstall the operating system without BACKING UP anything from your phone first.

You will need the desktop manager & the OS from blackberry.com

It will take about an hour and delete any programs that didn't come with the phone.

My Blackberry Curve 8520 Starts Up Then Goes To The Reboot Menu And Then To A White Screen?

So it basically goes to the reboot menu and fails about a quarter through and then goes to a white screen with an hourglass for about 2 minutes then goes back to the reboot menu and keeps repeating. So is this a phone fault or does the screen need to be replaced? Btw the phone screen had a slight crack/leak in it beforehand

Blackberry 8300 (Curve) screen white's out when on a phone call and an email message comes through.?

It spins the hourglass for 4 minutes, reboots, re-checks security on wireless connection then works again until the next time. Sometimes this happens just when I've been on a phone call for 10 minutes.
I forgot...this happens when I am talking on the phone and an email comes through.
